Led the design and introduction of new methods of managing engineering changes and product introductions, reducing the cycle times for introducing changes into semiconductor assembly processes from 14 days to less than 1 day in a project lasting only a few months, saving hundreds of millions of dollars a year, at their Austin, Texas Electronic Card Assembly and Testing facility. On another occasion, led an inquiry into the company’s product development strategies that helped end a pattern of billions of dollars of failed product development projects.
